It took me forever to figure out that it was Morrowind, too. I guess that makes atleast 3 dudes now...
Some of those rankings are way off...especially after a ton of time has gone by, generally speaking...

Its a VERY VERY good game and for people who enjoy that kind of game it is definitly the best game of the year.
I prefer Knights of the Old Republic to anything personally, but for its genre its the best no questions asked. i really don't consider KotOR to be in the same genre as it is a much more linear, scripted RPG. A bit like FF games.
Morrowind is the greatest game of all time..
