Best Racing game for Xbox?

Whats the best racing game for the box?
i like the need for speed type but i played the new one and i dont like it.
I'm looking for a in depth customizing.

i was going to say rallisport challenge 2, but you mentioned that you wanted a game you could customize the cars....

PGR2 and Rallisport Challenge2 are both great games, I play them all the time along w/ NFSU2. I would say PGR2 is teh best out of all of them ( this is from an online aspect). Forza Motorsport is gonna be teh shizzy, I suggest finding a good deal on PGR2, just to hold you till FM comes out.

if you are just wanting an excellent racing game but not limited to cars go with moto gp 1 or 2 and mx unleashed. im surprised that more people dont talk about mx unleashed, its such a great game. they dont have all the customization but they are great games.

excellent racing game- Burnout 3: Takedown
The game has no customization to speak of however, I've yet to see a game with customization worth talking about other than Sega GT 2002. Just wait on Forza Motorsport.

Ya, I think you should wait until Forza Motorsport if you want a game to customize cars on b/c on PGR2 you cant customize.

also i cant wait till wrestlemania 21 comes out!! damn.... raw 2 was good but it had ALOT of problems (glitches etc)

It seems like every game I fall in love w/ gets delayed. ( Halo 2, SC: Chaos Theory, and now Forza Motorsport)

Yesterday I decided to buy a racing game - but I had a difficult choice to make, it was out of Burnout 3 and NFS Underground 2, I couldn't decide so I launched the choice into my girlfriends trustful hands, and with her excessive gaming knowledge (sarcasm

) She chose NFSU2 coz it sounded more fancy, that was enough for me and I bought it lol.
Have I made the right choice, or has she let me down? lol.

Burnout 3, as a racing game, destroys NFSU 2 in every concieveable level.

Well, i must say Burnout 3: Takedown. My friend was coming to my house and playing it no stop until the sun light hit his face. We just can't stop playing it.
