Default Fat/ Duke/ Large controller user complaint thread

I know you may be sick of hearing me. blah..blah...blah...

I think the wireless controller is a good idea. From what I've hear some sports games have more than 4 players. But the downside is that the batteries run down fast.

But more than ever I hate the s-controllers and the 360 controllers. I think I may hate the 360 controllers more for some reason. I just cannot simply play fps's with these freggin controllers. I'm having a ton of trouble aiming. It was so easy for me with the large/ duke/ fat xbox controllers now its a pain in the ass. It feels like I have to completely relearn how to play these games and I have lost whatever skill that I once had.

I realize some of you are probably thinking, o boo hoo. Suck it up you *****.

For some reason everyone hates the large controllers. I think they are the best controllers that I have ever played with out of any game system (n64, ps2, gamecube, s-type xbox controller). I love them and I simply cannot play with these damn midget little kid controllers. Especially with halo 2. I have to woddle the aimer around before I hit something. Before I just set my sights on whatever but now I end up going over their head, I just can't aim.

Any other controller I can get my hands on?

best thing you can do is see what they have at a place like gamestop. hold it in your hands. personally, i have big hands and hate ps2 controllers. i loved the big ones too, but the 360 controllers for me rock. but i don't go through batteries to quick.

I made the switch...I used to play with the Duke only; however, the 360 controller, while smaller, is a much better controller than the S-Type.

I realize the 360 controller looks very similar to the S-Type; however, if you hold each one, there is a big difference and the 360 controller is a lot better. I made the switch and adjusted very easily....I was pretty surprised.

I love the new bumper buttons that replace the black/white buttons.

My batteries don't run down fast at all...and I'm a lazy bum that stays home and plays games all day.

the only real transitions i've had to made from the Duke to S to 360 is just getting used to the location of the B&W buttons. But once I've gotten used to one controller, I've had no complaints. Duke was amazing, then all mine broke (or got stolen) and then I switched to S but now I can use the 360 controller just fine. I just get a little mixed up when switching back and forth.

I found the S really weird feeling when it was released, and stayed with the Dukes, which really were quite comfortable. At first the 360 controller felt weird, but after having only about 45mins of play time on one I fell in love with it.

What makes the 360 controller better is it's lightness, the bumper buttons instead of the B&W ones, and the overall "feel" of the controller (especially the triggers).

    And no, I don't have a 360 yet either.........Walmart.

i have to agree that the 360 controller is by far the sexiest thing i've held in my hands besides boobies.
