Hey Guys..im very new to d Gaming Field...Can anybody help me choose d Best Gaming device? A PS2 /XboX 360 or shud i just wait for PS3??

Xbox 360. Its the best, I think. PS3 will be another year and it will cost a lot more. Xbox 360 has a good foundation and lots of games available. Go to www.xbox.com for more information.

Of course we are going to say the 360, after all, this is an xbox site. Despite that though, I would still go with the 360. The 360 has proved itself, while the ps3 is still just a mystery. Go with the 360.

depends on what kinds of games you want. IMO, go next-gen at least.

-if you absolutely must have a blu-ray player
-if you like Japanese RPG's
-if you can't live without MGS4

360: $399
-if you like shooters and plenty of them
-if you like Halo
-if you like RPG's like Fable and Oblivion
-if you want to take advantage of the seemless connectivity with your media PC

Wii: $249
-if you like Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Samus, Kirby, Link, etc
-if you like NES, SNES, N64, GC
-if you like innovation (Wiimote)
-if you like Star Wars (LucasArts is brewing something up to let you finally feel like you're holding a lightsaber.)

good post vman that is a pretty solid assesment of the three consoles i would say. on question, does the ps3 have better graphics then teh 360? or i guess will it? i just assumed the graphics would be pretty much the exact same

As far as I know they will be the same, but at this stage nobody can really say either way for sure.

im just going by what we know now. Theoretically, PS3 does have more power and graphics potential. But as we all know, graphics arent everything. Gameplay is what's gonna count in the long run.

Offtopic reply- teh wtf...

back on track - The features that the xbox 360 are quite amazing, so i must say 360. I dont personally own one, but my friend does. ITS GREAT WITH HDTV. No joke, and he doesnt even use special cables. The sourround sound i sgood, always has been a good quality. The arcade is mad fun, and so is geometry wars. The connectivity with the PC as vman said, is just great, and the gaming is top.
